Québec Nordiques
The Quebec Nordiques, a hockey team from Quebec, Canada, played in the NHL from 1972 to 1995 and were known for their rivalry with the Montreal Canadiens.
The goal is to innovate while staying true to this iconic brand's identity, ensuring that changes are both plausible and respectful of its heritage.

Current vs Concept

Primary logo
Secondary logo
The main idea for this logo was to create a visual that evokes the city. I incorporated elements to highlight the fortification aspect present on the coat of arms, a simplified version of the flag, and added a star to recall the name of the franchise.
Typography
This typeface was specially created to give a unique style to the Nordiques' team jersey. I drew inspiration from the city's fortifications to shape the numbers. Each digit reflects the robustness and historical character of the city, adding a touch of local heritage to the design.
Uniforms
Home
Being a truly popular club in the world of hockey, it was unthinkable to propose anything other than the traditional blue jersey adorned with its fleur- de- lys.
Away
The white uniform is used during the team's away games. There are no changes compared to previous versions.
Alternate
The third set of jerseys is an opportunity to innovate. I took this chance to propose a completely new version, with the main theme being the Great North. The presence of the gradient adds an extra dimension to the overall design. At the bottom of the jersey, you can see small gradient stripes to add a touch of flair!
